The Proton Foundation is an organisation that supports the protection of privacy and digital freedoms. Every year, it organises a fundraising event for the benefit of 10 organisations, which are themselves designated by the users of Proton secure communications solutions.
In 2024, the event raised more than a million dollars, distributed among the 10 beneficiary organisations. The Proton Lifetime Charity Fundraiser was made possible with support from Proton‘s generous community and a matching donation from free cloud storage Proton Drive. We are pleased to announce that Nothing2Hide is one of the 10 beneficiary organisations.
On behalf of the Nothing2Hide team, our partners and allies, we would like to thank the Proton Foundation. The trust placed in us by the foundation and its community will enable us to protect the journalists and activists we work with on a daily basis. This support will allow us to free up the time needed to offer them personalised support in the face of the digital threats they face on a daily basis.
